Zaida Lou (Newcomer) Walters, 85, of rural Valley Center, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024.  She was born September 20, 1938 in Wichita, Kansas to Willard Seymour Newcomer and Elizabeth Carolyn (Markel) Newcomer. She was a 1955 graduate of Valley Center High School.  In 1956 she married James Eugene Walters who preceded her.

Zaida is survived by her daughters Debbie Seivley and Kerry (Hugo) Gonzalez of Valley Center; grandchildren Joshua (Rachel) Seivley, James Gonzalez, Justin (Beverly) Seivley, Krystle (Tony) Andrade, Jacob Seivley, Jordan (BJ) Voegeli, Benjamin Gonzalez and Christopher (Tabitha) Gonzalez; great grandchildren Zaccary, Spencer, Stella & Sloane Seivley, Nicolas, Elizabeth & Angelo Andrade, C.J. & Oliver Gonzalez, Keaton, Kaleb (Delaney) Voegeli, Karter Voegeli, and Trent Roberts; great great grandchildren Paislee & Aspyn Voegeli.

Graveside Service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, March 1, at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita, Kansas.
