Zachary Stephen "Zack" Taylor,, 26, passed away, Sunday, July 27, 2014. Zack was just a a good ole country boy. He loved his family and having a good time. He liked to hunt, fish, 4 wheeling, cook, dance and hang out with his friends. Zack came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 2006 while he was battling a rare bone cancer. During his battle, he had a glimpse of Heaven and like the movie Heaven is for Real, Zack seen his sister Kitty and his grandparents who kissed his head and told him not now but later you will come home. He is preceded by his sister Kathryn "Kitty" Taylor, grandmother Ruth Taylor, grandparents Earl and Lureta Bookout and uncle Stevie Taylor. Zack is survived by his father David Taylor, mother LaDonna (Ron) Moon; sisters Ariel Taylor and Olivia Taylor, step brothers Brandon Moon and Clayton Moon; grandparents Ben Taylor, Irene (Paul) Lies, Larry (Patty) Bookout; uncles and aunts, Terry (Rebbeca) Taylor, Duane (Anita) Bookout, Ronald Bookout, Karen (Doug) Krapf, Karina (Thomas) Sinclair, Billy (Candace) Krapf, Michael Krapf, Curtis; cousins, Ty, Adrian, Justin and David; many other family and friends. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Thursday, July 31 at Lifepoint Church, 400 S. Abilene, Valley Center. Services 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 1 at New Spring Church, 12200 E. 21st, Wichita. Burial following the service at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita. There will be a potluck dinner following the graveside held at the Prairie Rose, 15231 NW Parallel St, Benton, Kansas. Memorials may be designated to Victory in the Valley, 3755 E.
