Wilma Pearl Bright, 101, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025.  She was born in Grenola, Kansas on Thursday, March 27, 1924 to Roy Nathan Scobee and Sarah Ethel Myrtle (Robinson) Scobee.

She was preceded in death by her husband Sam, her parents, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Pearl is survived by her children, Janice & Steve Bright of the home, Linda Joyce (Dennis) Prothero of Park City, Judy Rooney (Don) of Wichita, Rick Bright (Diana) of Valley Center, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, many other family and friends.

She loved sports, especially the Chiefs, Royals and Wings.  In honor of Pearl, the family is asking you to wear your favorite sports shirt or jersey.

Services to be held Friday, October 24 at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center at 11:00 a.m. with visitation before.  Graveside at 1:00 p.m., at White Chapel Cemetery, 1806 N. Oliver, Wichita, Kansas 67208.

Memorials may be designated in her memory to Harry Hynes Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, Kansas 67202.
