WICHITA, KANSAS formerly Valley Center

WILLIE R. DRY 'BILL' , 92, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Wichita, Kansas. He was born in Mountain Home, Arkansas to Doda and Pearl (Weber) Dry. He was an U.S. Air Force World War II and Korean War Veteran. He was retired from Civil Service having worked at McConnell Air Force Base and Whiteman Air Force Base. Bill was founder of "The Bill Dry and Rhythm Riders Band. He enjoyed music, auctioneering and so much more, but most of all his family. He is survived by his daughters Lucinda (David) Brooks, Pauletta (Richard) Roberts, all of Wichita; son Warren (Judy) Dry of Yukon, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Beci (Greg) Hiser, Melinda (Richard) Estes, Kelly Brooks, Julie Casey, Courtney Adcook, Michelle (Don) Paris; great grandchildren, Madison, Brenden, Dakota, Harlie, Marissa, Kiersten and Gabby; brother Darrell Dry of Granger, Texas; sister-in-laws Roberta Dry of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Agnes Dry of Valley Center. He is preceded in death by his wife Frances Dry, parents Doda and Pearl Dry, sister Hazel, brothers Doda Jr., Elmer, Bobbie Dean, and companion Leona Kraus. Visitation will be held 3-5 p.m., Thursday, March 16 at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Graveside will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 17, Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N.
