WILLIAM  BEN  THOMPSON  'BENNY' , 90, beloved husband and father passed away surrounded by family on Friday, December 28, 2018. He was born at home in rural Valley Center, Kansas to David Henry Thompson and Mary Edna (York) Thompson. He enjoyed many things in life working and buying cattle, farming, rodeo, travel, but the greatest joy was his family. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 70 yrs, Rosella Thompson; daughters Rebecca (John) Oliver, Debra (Steve) Fienhage, Cynthia Ratley, Tina (George) Englert; sister Nellie Woods; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother LeRoy Thompson, sisters Edith Kessler, Helen Born and Betty Patterson.

Services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, January 5 at Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N. Meridian, Wichita, Kansas 67204. A luncheon will follow the service at the Valley Center Community Center, 314 E. Clay, Valley Center. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be designated to Clear Path Hospice, 818 N.
