Obituary

Wilbur Bert Black , 88, of Valley Center, Ks. passed away March 10th, 2018, at his home in Valley Center. He was born in Exeter Missouri to the late Herman and Mildred Black. He attended school in Exeter Missouri, then served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked at Beech Aircraft before owning and operating Sea Bea Trash Service retiring in 1998. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and drinking coffee with his friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Fern (Nelson) Black, sister Patsy Clair and brothers Hershel and Jerry Black, grandson Christopher Cooper Black. Survivors include daughter Shelia (Kenneth) Haas, sons Clifford Black, Brett (Fran) Black all of Valley Center, Ks. and son Gary (Greta) Black of Wichita, Ks. He had 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday, March 14th at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Funeral Service will be Thursday, March 15th at 1pm at Valley Center Christian Church, 1801 E. 5th, Valley Center, Ks. 67147. Graveside with military honors will be following at the Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
