WENDELL  FRANKLIN  CUNNINGHAM , of Wichita, Kansas, age 92, retired Boeing Engineer, retired United Methodist Pastor and World War II Veteran. A devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend stepped into eternity on Sunday April 15, 2018. He was born in Fredonia, Kansas to Howard and Cora Mae (Smith) Cunningham. Wendell graduated from Friends University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He loved to garden, especially growing his tomato plants from seeds. He also enjoyed golf, watching baseball and basketball games. Wendell's passion was sharing with others about his Savior Jesus Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Dean Cunningham and Howard Cunningham, sisters Carmoletta Lucas, Wilmetta Johnson and Jeanetta Shue, his wife Floreine and son Phil (Janet) Cunningham. Wendell is survived by his daughters Denise (Terry) Michael, Marla Cunningham, all of Wichita, and Lynette (Lyle) Dejmal of Brownell, Kansas; grandchildren Miranda, Justin, Kelsey, Abby, Bret and Tyler; great grandchildren Dylan, Rylie, Haylie, Conner, Avery, Peyton, Brendan, Holden, Cannon, Brady and Parker; aunt Wanda Cunningham; a host of other family and friends. Memorials may be designated in his memory to 'His Helping Hands' Ministry, 1441 E. 37 ^th St. N., Wichita, Ks, 67219. Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday April 19, at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center with visitation with family before. A graveside service will follow at White Chapel Cemetery, 1806 N.
