Wendell Eugene Clifton, 79, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to Stanley Eugene Clifton and Glennie (Tatum) Clifton. He was a graduate of Valley Center High School. He worked in the experimental modifications at Beechcraft since 1966 to 2004 when he retired.  He married the love of his life, Linda (Twist) Clifton. Wendell was a proliftic woodcarver, great artist both pencil and paint, exceptional guitarist, and an experienced outdoorsman loving fishing and quail hunting.  His family was his greatest enjoyment spending time with them, trips to Kentucky, Oklahoma and Fall River being the favorites.

Wendell is preceded by his late wife Linda, daughter Bonnie Mae Clifton, parents Stanley and Glennie Clifton.

He is survived by his son Scott Clifton, grandchildren Brandi Frank, Nichole Clifton, Brandon Clifton, Jesse Gordon and Stevie Gordon, great grandchildren Kylie Quigley, Josie Olmstead, Weston Frank, Zooey Frank and Charlie Gordon, and his brother Lewis Clifton, many other family and friends.
