Wealtha was a 1957 graduate of Emporia High School. In 1958, she attended Emporia State Teachers College (now known as Emporia State University) for a year and a half. Wealtha was employed by the Sedgwick Convalescent Center as the activities director for nearly eight years. She was also an EMT for the City of Sedgwick. Around 1993, Wealtha retired in order to stay home and care for her grandchildren. Wealtha enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids, and fur babies. Wealtha loved serving her community - she volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Special Olympics, and making meals for the homeless shelter.

On August 13, 1966, she married Ronald Fred Davis in Seattle, WA. They shared over 54 years of marriage.

Wealtha is survived by: her husband, Ronald Davis; her children, Debra (Randy) Brown of Sedgwick, Don (Victoria) Davis of Sedgwick, Darren (Jill) Davis of Haven, and Dennis (Jeneva) Davis of Sedgwick; 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Frank and Rose Bartel; siblings, Dowane Bartel and Shirley Matlock; and grandchildren, Jamie Brown and Jessica Davis.

The family has elected to honor Wealtha with a graveside service, which will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2021, at Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick, Kansas. Pastor Doug Ingmire will be officiating. The family asks that attendees follow COVID protocol and wear a mask.

A Celebration of Life gathering for Wealtha will take place in June of 2021.
