WANDA  LEE  (GENTRY)  SHOEMAKER, 80, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018. She was born in Searcy, Arkansas. She attended at North High School, Wichita, Kansas. She worked various positions at Bestwestern 53 ^rd St. in the bookkeeping and even was a truck driver. She was straight forward and honest, and could make a person chuckle with her quick wit. Her heart was kind and full of unselfishness. She is survived by her children, Tony (Julie) Holmes of Seattle, WA, Tammy Jay of Wichita, Tonia (Mike) Kennedy of Wichita, Tina Stoy of Kennesaw, Georgia; grandkids, Ky (Crystal), Misti, Jerad, James, Melanie, Michael and Kenzi, 21 great grandkids; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Mildred Anna Gentry and her husband Eddie Shoemaker. A Special thanks to Wesley CCU for their compassionate care. Memorials may be designated in her memory to Believer's Tabernacle, 2000 S. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67210.  Visitation 9 a.m., Service 10 a.m., Friday, March 9, both will be at LifePoint Church, 400 N.
