Wanda Jo Taylor, at 82 years old, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 6, 2026 in Valley Center, Kansas. She and her brother Vonley were adopted by Hubert "Slim" and Hazel (Gfeller) Hinds of Valley Center. She attended Valley Center School district where she graduated in 1961. She worked in several locations till she returned to Valley Center where she married and started a family, her son Eugene Taylor. She was a loving single mother working for Koch Oil and later retiring from USD 262 central office where she did accounting.

She was preceded in death by her father Hubert Hinds, mother Hazel Hinds, brother Vonley Hinds. Survived by her son Eugene "Gene" Taylor.

The funeral will be held at her home in Valley Center, at 212 N Park Ave, on Friday ,January 16, 2026 at 4 pm.
