Walla Dee (McKittrick) Waldmeier 93 of Newton, Kansas passed away Friday, September 11, 2026 at Paramount Health and Rehab. She was born Saturday, October 10, 1931 in Wonsevu, Kansas, the daughter of Howard D. and Helen (McElwain) McKittrick.   She was raised in the Wonsevu, Chase County, Kansas area, where she was raised and attended school. Walla graduated from Cedar Point High School, Cedar Point, Kansas around the turn of the decade.

She is survived by her sister, Sharon Taylor of Derby, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Helen McKittrick; her sisters— Betty Woodward, Rosalie Baker and Dolly Byram.

She will be buried at the Wonsevu Cemetery, Cedar point, KS with no graveside services.
