WICHITA, KANSAS
PASTOR VIRGINIA LOUISE (MILLER) MONTGOMERY, 90, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 20, 2015. She was born on January 28, 1925, to Fred and Alta L. (Bay) Miller in Howell County, Missouri. Virginia was the oldest of 19 children. She was saved and gave her heart to the Lord on March 15, 1940 and was called into the ministry at the age of 16. She married James Everett Montgomery on May 19, 1942, and to that union was born 10 children. Through out her ministry she was involved in many Christian organizations and was the Director of the Womens Ministry for Full Gospel Christian Association out of Sheridan, Arkansas. She was the Pastor of Revival Way Mission Church in Wichita, KS for over 50 years until her death on October 20, 2015. She is survived by her children Loucille Walden, Carolyn (Phil) Fisher, Margaret Fisher, Faye (Donald) Fisher, Wichita, KS, Bert (Wilma) Montgomery, Sheridan, AR, Susie (Gary) Crane, Fred Montgomery, Wichita, KS and grandchildren Jack E., Michelle, Ty, Joseph Rivard, John Phillips, Romona (Jim) Rowley, Bobby Plumlee, Anita (Jeff) Self, Jesse (Brenda) Plumlee, Tina (Billy) Bosley, Molly Fisher, Sherri (Ben) Black, Sarah (Derrick) Hutchinson, Donald (Denise) Fisher Jr., Heather Fisher (Matt), Catherine Montgomery, Stephen (Heather) Montgomery and 32 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren, many friends and loved ones. She is also survived by her brothers James (Joyce), Harold (Betty), Bill (Betty), Kenneth (Louise), Larry (Karen) Miller of MO, Freddie (Edna) Miller of AR and sisters Evelyn Finley, Lois Taylor, Darlene (Dale) Sullivan, Jody (Lloyd) Moore, Susie Grooms, Ruthie Cash of MO, Shirley Holliman & Ada Holliman of AR. She is preceded in death by her husband James Montgomery, children Mary Rivard, Mildred Montgomery, David Montgomery, grandchildren Virginia (Ginger) Rivard, Phillip A. Fisher, Ronald Fisher Jr., parents Fred and Alta L. (Bay) Miller, brothers Harry & Cecil Miller, and sisters Ellen Ford & Jeri Bay.
