VALLEY CENTER, KS
Caster, Virginia Mae (Emmart), 83, retired J.P. Weigand Realtor, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. She was born in rural Kechi, Kansas, to George Emmart and Edna Marie (Collier) Emmart. Virginia was a great homemaker, cook, gardener and seamtress. She is survived by her husband, Lee Caster; daughters, Teresa Caster of College Station, TX, Cynthia Caster of Houston, TX, Amelia and Mark Michaelis of Valley Center; son, Mark and Faye Caster of Chamberburg, PA; grandchildren, April Michaelis, Jaime Brown, Aaron Michaelis, Stephen and Courtney Caster, Charity Adair and Kelly Gordon; and great grandchildren, Jarrod and Jace Brown, Grace and Kate Adair, and Raif Gordon. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Edna Emmart, and her sister, Roberta Emmart. Visitation will be held 3-5 p.m., Sunday, June 10 at Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 11, at Kechi United Methodist Church, 4533 E. 61st St. N., Kechi. Interment following the service at the Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita. Memorials may be designated to Kechi United Methodist Church, 4533 E. 61st St. N., Kechi, Ks 67067, Heartland Hospice, 3210 W.
