Vincent Eugene Waggoner – 'Gene', age 85, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 in Wichita Ks.  He was born in Anthony,  Kansas to Orva Vincent Waggoner and Jewell (Heath) Waggoner. He was a lifelong resident of Wichita, Kansas and was a graduate of Planeview High School. On August 12, 1967, he married the love of his life, Edra Lee Holt at West Side Church of God, Wichita, Kansas. He retired from The Coleman Company after forty years with the company.

Gene loved his family and spending time with them doing many activities such as travelling, hunting, photography, cars, and so much more. He was a longtime member of West Side Church of God and enjoyed his church family. He had a great love for the Lord and his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife Edra Lee (Holt) Waggoner, parents Vincent and Jewell Waggoner (Valley Center Kansas), sister Beverly Davis (Valley Center Kansas) and brother-in-law Al Johnson (Edmond Oklahoma).

Gene is survived by his son Christopher Waggoner of Wichita Kansas.  He is also survived by his sister Barbara Johnson of Edmond, OK, sister-in-law Linda (Curt) Payne of Wichita, KS, uncle David Waggoner of Menard, TX, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Visitation will be held in Wichita Kansas at West Side Church of God on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 5pm - 7pm.

Graveside Services will be held at Forest Park Cemetery, South Santa Fe Rd, Anthony, Kansas on Tuesday, March 23 at 2:00 pm.
