Vicky Susan Fidler PanKratz was born on November 25, 1945, in Dodge City, Kansas, to Loyal and Vera Fidler. When she was four years old, her family moved from Rolla, Kansas, to Meade, Kansas. She graduated from Meade High School in 1963 and attended Fort Hays State College, where she met the love of her life, Jon PanKratz.

On August 28, 1965, Vicky married Jon PanKratz. Together they built a loving family and raised three daughters. Their family grew to include 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her life and brought her immense joy. To those who loved her most, she was simply "Nanny," a name that reflected the warmth, love, and care she gave so freely.

Vicky was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers-in-law.

She is survived by her devoted husband of many years, Jon PanKratz; her daughters, Niki (Mike) Carter of Rose Hill, Kansas; Andrea PanKratz of Park City, Kansas; and Paige (Jeramie) Hoover of Goddard, Kansas. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; her sisters, Banny Orme of Wichita, Kansas, Judy Smith of Meade, Kansas, and Cindy Robbins of Yuma, Arizona; her sister-in-law, Judy PanKratz of Kingwood, Texas; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Vicky will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her kind heart, and the legacy of love she leaves behind in each generation. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and cherished "Nanny" will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
