Obituary

PARK  CITY, KANSAS

VERNE  DALE  BUSSART , 93, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018. He was born in Beloit, Mitchell County, Kansas to Mayland Bussart and Irene (Bennett) Bussart. He served in the U.S. Army and was a WWII Veteran. He was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church. In 1965 he married the love of his life, Dorothy. Together they owned and worked side by side running their Service Stations and Lawn Service. He loved being an auto mechanic and just loved working. He enjoyed fishing and boating, but rarely had time for it. Vern had joined the Shriners where he was a member of the Palomino Drill Team. His great love was being on his John Deere mowing. Vern is survived by his wife Dorothy; daughter Cyndy and her husband Brent Bressler; sons Michael Bussart and David Bussart; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren; his sister LaDonna Basto; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Milton Bussart, by his parents Mayland and Irene. Graveside services with honors will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, 1208 N. College St, Winfield, Kansas 67156. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be designated in his memory to Ascension Lutheran Church Youth Program, 842 N. Tyler, Wichita, Ks 67212 and Serenity Hospice, 9415 E. Harry #301, Wichita, Ks 67207.
