WICHITA, KANSAS
VERA MARIE (KALM) WALKER,
80 years, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017. She was born in LaHarpe, Kansas to Elsworth and Opal (Roush) Kalm. Vera worked for and retired from Texas Instruments and Raytheon as an I.T. She is preceded in death by her parents Elsworth and Opal Kalm, brothers Francis and William Kalm, sister Hazel Douglas, grandsons Steven Mitchell and Jason Mitchell. She is survived by her daughter Vicki Mitchell, grandson Jeremy Mitchell, great grandchildren Jaci, Jadin and Isabella Mitchell, sister Mary Piotrowski and Sharon (John) Carroll, brother-in-law Donald Douglas; many other family and friends. Visitation with family will be held 5-7 pm, Friday, January 5 at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Service 10 am, Saturday, January 6 at Word of Life Church, 3811 N. Meridian Wichita.
