VERA ELLEN (SHOEMAKER) PARKER, 88, retired Club Owner and Homemaker passed away on April 26, 2016. She was born in Quapaw, Oklahoma to George and Juanita (Gere) Shoemaker. She is survived by her children Eddie (Vicky) Haggard of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Lonnie (Sandy) Haggard of Checotah, Oklahoma, Lynn (David) Wall of Wichita, Ellen (Alan) Wallis of Haysville, Gloria Ries (Lonnie Petree) of Wichita, Ann (Jim) Dyck of Wichita; cousin Bill Johnson of Neosho, Missouri; 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; her beloved brother Rusty; Larry Shoemaker of Wichita, Sherry Cole of Tennessee and Mark Shoemaker of Wichita; many friends and especially the staff of Main Street Place where she made her home in Haysville, Kansas.
