Rogers, Veda Louise (Romig), 92, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012. She was born in Attica, Kansas to Harry Benjamin Romig and Edna Mae (Giggy) Romig. She was a graduate of Nashville High School, Nashville, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Cecil "Red" Cheatum and Morris Rogers; parents, Ben and Edna Romig; sister, Doris Hess and stepson, Dan Cheatum. Veda is survived by her sons, Don Cheatum, Kenneth Cheatum and Jerry Cheatum; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Harold Romig and Howard Romig; sisters, Velma Thatcher and Mary Jones; many other family and friends.
