Valorie 'Gayle' 'Rock' McVicar , 67, of Sedgwick, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in Newton, Kansas.

She was born in Newton, Kansas to Eugene and Janice McVicar. She was a life long resident of Sedgwick, Kansas. She graduated from Sedgwick High School and Cosmetology school. She enjoyed going to garage sales and  her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her father Eugene McVicar and sister Tere McVicar.

Gayle is survived by her children Tiffany (Trey) Lyman and Trey (Jacque) Matchett, grandchildren Scarlett and Gannon Lyman, step-grandchildren Ethan and Dylan Boyd, mother Janice McVicar, brother Tom McVicar, and sisters Janine Schroeder, Jodi Wallace, Elaine McDaniel, Lori Kingsley and Sharon George.

Celebration of Life will be held at 6:30 pm Saturday, October 16 at The American Legion in Sedgwick, Kansas.
