VIOLA 'JEAN' (HOLSINGER) FEIL,
83, beloved mother of Michael Feil (Anne Simon) of Wichita, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016. Former Boeing flight manuals employee, Thomlinson Oil Co. executive secretary, retired Enron Corp land and lease analyst, and F.G. Holl Oil Co. land department employee. She was born in New Cumberland, West Virginia to Arthur Leroy and Ada Levina (Bailey) Holsinger. She was raised in Minerva, Ohio, then moved to Wichita, Kansas in 1950 with her husband of 18 years, Merle Feil. She then moved to Colorado 1973 to 1989 before coming back to Wichita. She financially supported Merle and his brother Don's start-up and still operating business, the Wichita Key Lock and Safe Company. Jean is survived by her son Michael Feil (Anne Simon) of Wichita; sister Juanita (Chuck) Custer of Minerva, Ohio; niece Vicki Stinchcomb, nephews Tim Custer and Dan Dager, all of Mineva, Ohio, nephew Jerry Feil of Valley Center, and many other family and friends. Celebration of Life Service on 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 30 at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Private graveside at Kechi Township Cemetery, Wichita, Kansas.
