Troyce Edward Willis, of Wichita, Kansas, was born Sunday, July 4, 1943, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2026. Born in Lubbock, Texas, Troyce spent most of his childhood in Dodge City and Wichita where he sang in choir, played cello, and loved learning. After graduating Southeast High School, he joined the Marines where he was stationed in Japan and found himself mesmerized by the country and the culture. He was a proud Marine and his time of service would become one of the many stories that he would share throughout his life. Following military service, Troyce was in sales, small business owner, commercial truck driver, driving instructor, tour bus driver, and lastly a school bus driver in Wichita. His driving career took him all over the United States where he loved to meet people and see the country. He had a deep faith in God, and was an intelligent, hardworking individual. He was a passionate storyteller to his family and friends where he would frequently tell a joke accompanied by a mischievous smile. 

He was preceded in death by parents Milton and Pauline Willis, sister Christine (Jerry) Vogt and brother Milton (Jan) Willis. He is survived by his partner and best friend of many years Karen Drury, sister Anna (Chris) Schwartz, nephew Sheldon (Paula) Vogt, nephew Clifton (Brianna) Vogt, niece Sharla Vogt, nephew Scott (Nancy) Willis, niece Shannon (Bill) Hobblet, niece Valentine Dooms, and many great nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends will gather at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery 1208 N. College,  Winfield, Kansas with Honor Guard services, date pending.
