Troy Lee Hale, 53, passed away in Wichita, Kansas, October 6, 2020.  Troy was born November 16, 1966 to Gary and Linda (Anderson) Hale.  He grew up in Sedgwick, Kansas.

Troy (T-Roy or Mad Hawaiian as many of his friends called him) made many lifelong friends while attending school in Sedgwick, Kansas.  He graduated in 1985 from Sedgwick High School.  People would say that he never met a stranger and always helped a person in need if he could.

He loved to go fishing and camping and spent much of his time searching for arrowheads to add to his collection. Some of our fondest memories of him are of times spent at the lake or along a riverbank with a pole in the water.  He was witty and could make anyone laugh. If something was broken, Troy could probably fix it.  If there was one last thing he could say to us, it would probably be "catch you on the flip side!"

Troy leaves behind a son, Derek (Katie) Hale of Park City, KS, and daughters Alia and Kali Hale of Mulvane, KS; his beloved mother, Linda Eshelman of Sedgwick, KS, sister, Lori (Marc) Pace of Lake Orion, MI, brother Todd Hale of Sedgwick, KS, grandsons Landon, Tucker & Brody, also a niece and 5 nephews; many other family and friends.

Troy is preceded in death by his father, Gary Lewis Hale, formerly of Sedgwick, KS.

A private memorial service will be held by the family.
