Treva Jane Chittim , age 90, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in Wichita, Kansas. She was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma to parents Lester Augustus Harrison and Vinita Aileen (Crawford) Harrison. She was a lifelong resident of Wichita, Kansas. She was a graduate of Arkansas City High School. After graduation she received her Associates Degree at Cowley County College.  She worked for 20 years as a secretary in contracts with The Veterans Administration (VA). She also worked 13 years in Top Secret contracts administration and parts control with Boeing.

Treva enjoyed her family, friends and meeting new people. She was young at heart and always singing or smiling. She was a fantastic dancer and she and her partner Victor, would glide across the floor so gracefully. She was a loving hero to her children and an unwavering champion to the support of her son with Cerebral Palsy.

She was preceded in death by her parents Vinita Aileen Guest and Lester Augustus Harrison, life partner Victor Moralez, sons Jeffrey Howard Pappan and Terry Mitchell Pappan. Treva is survived by her daughter Tina Diane Griffin and her husband Michael of Wichita, brother Larry Harrison of Houston, many other family and friends.

At this time, due to Covid restrictions, we will not have funeral services. Instead we will have a celebration of life to be determined at a future date. A Facebook announcement will be made and formal invitations will be sent.
