Trent Robert Appelhans, 27, passed away on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022 in Wichita, Kansas.
He was born in Newton, Kansas to Bob Appelhans and Jonna Everett. He was a life long resident of Benton, Kansas and Valley Center, Kansas, he attended Circle School District K-11th grade and graduated from Valley Center High School in 2012. After High School he worked as a professional commercial custodial expert serving Wichita Public Schools and then Janiking.
Trent enjoyed good music, capturing beautiful things on his camera, creating physical and digital art, gaming, spending time with his friends, family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Trent was preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Nancy Everett; cousin, Joe Everett.
Trent was survived by his parents, Bob & Denise Appelhans and Jonna Everett; sister, Tori (Brad) Belser; brothers, Cody (Tiffany) Jelinek and Jacob Jelinek; grandparents, Bernard & Marilyn Appelhans and Terry & Marilyn Gideon; nieces, Dannah, Hadley, Bellalynn, Callahan, Breelynn, and Charlotte; nephews; Jaden and Andrew, and many many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at The Benton Church, 14300 SW 20th St, Benton, KS.
In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to the Dravet Syndrome Foundation (

) in his memory. This foundation was near and dear to Trent as his niece Bellalynn fights this horrible syndrome daily, and he always found strength in her fight.
