Todd Leinen, 55, passed away on March 25, 2026 at his home in Valley Center, KS.He was born on March 4, 1971 in Wichita, KS to Warren and Jeanne (Peterson) Leinen.  He was a lifelong resident of Valley Center, and was a graduate of Valley Center High School and Friends University.  After graduation he worked as a chemist and technical support for BG Products.

Todd married Sarah (Gore) Leinen on March 22, 1997 and they have 3 children Peyton, Kelsey, and Dani.

Todd loved Jeep rides, spending time in his shop, days at the lake, and summer baseball. He also enjoyed opening his home to summer college baseball players each year and getting to be a small part of their season. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by grandparents Ernest and Inez Peterson and Bill and Ruth Leinen.

He is survived by his wife Sarah Leinen; children Peyton, Kelsey, and Dani Leinen; parents Warren and Jeanne Leinen all of Valley Center; brother Troy Leinen of Branson, MO; aunts and uncles Rod and Krista Peterson of Valley Center, and Dan and Sally Leinen of St. Francis, KS; and many inlaws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

We're choosing to honor Todd in a way that truly reflects who he was. We will be having a small, intimate family burial, and we would love for friends and loved ones to join us at his celebration of life 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 11th at 736 W 93rd St N, Valley Center, Kansas 67147.
