Timothy William Simon, aged 75, passed away on May 9, 2025, in Peabody, Kansas. Born on June 21, 1949, Tim was known for his profound skills as a master machinist and his spirited life as an old hippy biker. He was a loving husband to Christy (Taylor) Simon, whom he married in 1988, and an amazing father to his children. Tim attended Campus High School in Haysville, Kansas. He proudly served in the Navy, dedicating years of service marked by commitment and valor. His professional life was spent at The Boeing Company, where he retired after decades of dedication. Beyond his professional and military life, Tim was happiest spending time on his quiet land in the country with his wife, Christy.

He is survived by Christy and his daughter, Renea (Simon) Dove and her husband, Todd, and their children, Colt and Rayne Dove. His son, William Simon, and his wife, Susan, and their sons, Dynver Simon and Michael Douglas, and others. His stepson Sean Blacketer and his wife Jennifer. His stepson, Michael Blacketer, his wife, Chrystal, and their daughters, Sierra (Blacketer) Day and Amelia Blacketer. He is also survived by his brothers, Martin, Steven, and Paul Simon. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Roy William Simon and Emma Francis (Watkins) Simon of Mulvane, Kansas.

Tim's life was a testament to his enduring kindness, love for his family, and remarkable skills both in his craft and life. He will be deeply missed by friends, family, and all who knew him.

A celebration of his life will be held on June 21, 2025, his 76th birthday. The location is 105 Duncan Terrace, Newton, KS, at 2:00 p.m.
