Teresa Ann Jacobs, 87, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.  She was born in Wichita, Kansas the second child of James Carroll Waggoner and Gwendolyn (Wolf) Waggoner.  The family moved to Hutchinson, Kansas where she attended schools and graduated from Hutchinson High School.  She furthered her education and then went on to be an officer with the Wichita Police Department where she retired as a Detective. Teresa later worked as a Federal Marshall at the Courthouse, then went to work security for TSA at the Airport where she retired.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, collecting beanie babies, being in the country to enjoy wildlife, peace and quiet times with her family.

In High School she met the love of her life and married Wallace Dwane Jacobs, almost 70 years of marriage this past month. He preceded her on December 21, 2024.  She is also preceded by her parents, brothers James C. Waggoner II,  Lyell "Butch" Waggoner, and son-in-law Michael Sattler.

Teresa is survived by her sons, Jake C. Jacobs & wife Teresa L, Jack M. Jacobs, and daughter Jill A. Sattler; grandchildren Zach Jacobs, Matthew Jacobs and Jaime Allen & husband Garrett; great grandchildren Violet Allen, Noah Jacobs, Braylon Jacobs, Brooklyn Jacobs, Saylor Jacobs and Berkley Jacobs; aunt Carolyn Waggoner; many other family and friends.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 13, 2025 at Green Valley Cemetery, 14500 E. 109th St N., Furley (Valley Center), Kansas with Bishop Munhall officiating.
