Obituary

Tammy Sue Britton, 46 of Peabody, Ks passed away on Sunday October 4, 2020 at St Francis in Wichita, Ks.  She was born to John Smith and Sharon (Michaelis) Smith Oursler on August 16, 1974 in Newton, Kansas.

She spent most of her life in Peabody, attending schools in Peabody and Beloit.

Tammy has worked several jobs.  Her first job was working at her mother's restaurant.  The job she really enjoyed was driving a school bus as she enjoyed being around kids. She spent a short time owning a restaurant.  She then worked on her own doing odd jobs and repairing things.  She could take just about any small appliance apart fix it and put it back together and it would work.

Tammy loved taco pizza from Casey's and Dr. Pepper slushies.  Tammy's favorite color was purple and she was attracted to anything sparkly.

Tammy was preceded in death by a daughter Kara, her father, grandparents and an uncle.

She is survived by her daughters Derian Britton, Madison Britton and her son Dalton Britton, her mother Sharon and step father Frank Oursler, a sister Teresa McGonigal, brother Rob (Shawna) Oursler, and step brother Jim (Kris) Oursler. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many numerous friends.

Visitation will be held 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Monday October 12, at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley  Center, Ks.

Graveside will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday October 18 at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody, Ks.
