Obituary

Tambra "Tammy" Lynn Myers was born on Friday, October 2, 1958, in Wichita, Kansas, and passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the age of 67. Her journey began and concluded in the city she called home, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and kindness.

Tammy was a student at Valley Center Schools, where she was a cheerleader. Tammy dedicated much of her life to being a nurturing primary caregiver to her beloved daughter, Andrea. She was instrumental in establishing B&T Lawn Sprinklers, where she proudly served as co-owner and bookkeeper. Her professional journey also included roles as a secretary for various lawn care companies, and she was a passionate volunteer with the Central Community Church food pantry, where her dedication to helping others shone brightly.

Those who knew Tammy will remember her vibrant spirit and how she filled her world with beauty and creativity. She had an affinity for the color purple and a lifelong love for drawing and horses. Tammy cherished spending time with her best friends Cathy, Ronda, and Anne, lovingly known as "CRAT," and enjoyed crafting ceramics that reflected her artistic flair. A gracious hostess, she delighted in gathering family and friends for holidays and special events. Her kitchen was a haven where she baked the most delectable cookies and cakes, each one professionally decorated and made with love.

Preceding Tammy in death are her treasured daughter Andrea Myers; her father, William Dillon; her mother, Jeannie Dillon; her brother, Richard Dillon; her brothers-in-law, Ray Smith and Danny Rundell; and her nephew, Brandon Patterson.

Tammy’s memory will be cherished by her surviving family: her daughters Adrienne Regehr (Jesse) and Chelsea Jantz (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Tristan Kahler (Kelsey), Braelynn Jantz, and Kade Jantz; and the love of her life, Brett Myers. She is also survived by her sisters, Francie Smith, Michele Murray (Ken), and Debbie Rundell, along with her sister-in-law, Gloria Dillon. Other loved family including Sharon and Lee Porter, John and Cheri Mullen, Mark and Janie Myers. Tammy's legacy extends to numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family who will forever hold her dear in their hearts.

Services will be held at Central Community Church, 6100 W. Maple, Wichita, on Monday, September 21st at 10:30 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita at 1:00 p.m.

Donations in her memory may be made in lieu of flowers to Hope In the Valley Equine Rescue and Sanctuary, 9025 N. Broadway, Valley Center, Kansas 67147.
