Tama J. (LaMunyon) Jones, 63, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis. She was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on Sunday, September 2, 1962.  Most of her life was in the Park City - Wichita area where she attended school and Butler Community College. She loved her job working at Head Start for Wichita, Kansas. She also drove a truck for Apex for many years. Tama loved everything nature, she loved all the animals, especially  dragonflies and butterflies, camping, fishing, traveling, concerts and spending time with her family and friends.

Tama was preceded in death by her father Joseph Slater, her husband Robert Jones and her son Jacob Stidham; her grandparents JW and Rosila Ingram, Richard and Phyllis LaMunyon Sr., her uncle Bill LaMunyon and her brother Bobby LaMunyon,

Tama is survived by her mother Patricia Slater, her children Joe Jones, Jeni Jones and Robert E Jones, her grandchildren Ivan and Sofie Jones, all of Park City, Kansas, Tracy (Chastity) LaMunyon of Hutchinson, Tisha (Shawn) Mears of Hutchinson, Robin LaMunyon-Payton of Douglass, bonus sister Angela (Rick) Myres of Wichita, Kansas, brother-in-law Allen Jones, aunts and uncles Steve and Nancy LaMunyon, Willie and Linda Allen of Hutchinson, great uncle and aunt, Dick and Jeanne Wintamute of Inman, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday September 27, 2025 at Baker Funeral Home in Valley Center, Kansas. Tama chose to be an organ, bone, and tissue donor. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be designated in her memory to Midwest Organ Transplant or a charity of your choosing.
