Susan Faye Goering, 61, passed away Sunday, October 19th, 2014 at her home in Maize Kansas. Suzie, as most knew her by, graduated from Valley Center, raised a family in Goddard, and lived with her husband George Pearson in Maize. She worked at the Special Education Office in Goddard for 33 years as the MIS Student Data Clerk. Suzie placed her trust in Christ at an early age and spent her life loving, caring for, and serving others. She loved adventure (mountain climbing, camping, and hang gliding to name a few) traveling, and interior decorating. If it was broke, she could fix it! Her creativity had no bounds. She will be missed dearly by her husband, George Pearson; sons, Craig and Brian Goering; mother, Mildred Mendenhall; sister Amy Mendenhall; brother, Darrin Mendenhall; and six grandchildren, Isaac, Moriah, Anderson, Selah, Luke, and Chloe. She was preceded in death by her first husband Don Goering, father James Mendenhall and brother Jim Mendenhall.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd from 6-8 pm. The funeral will be held on Friday, October 24th at 10:30am. Both services will be held at Life Point Church in Valley Center Kansas.
