Spencer, Steven Ray, 62, retired Sedgwick County Coliseum Maintenance, passed away Monday, September 5, 2011. He was born in Newton, Kansas to Clinton and Mary Spencer. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam War Era Veteran. He is survived by his mother, Mary Spencer of Wichita; many other family and friends. Steven is preceded in death by his father, Clinton Ray Spencer and companion, Margy Lou Foster. Services 10 a.m., Monday, September 12, at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Burial following the service at the Highland Evangelical Cemetery, Newton. Memorials to the First Mennonite Brethren Church, 8000 W. 21st N., Wichita, Ks 67205. Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center has charge.
