Mitchell, Steven Melvin, 55, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013. He was born in Indianopolis, Indiana, to Lawrence Melvin Mitchell and Barbara May (Elsey) Mitchell. He was a graduate of Decatur Central High School. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Joseph) Koker of McPherson, Ks; sons, Jason (Jenna) Mitchell of Utah and Christopher Mitchell of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Henry, Haley, Harly, Angela, David, Brandon and Daniel; sisters, Sandy Mitchell and Terry Mitchell; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Landis, father, Lawrence Mitchell and sister, Beverly Benson. Private family Service. Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center, Kansas.
