STANLEY ALBERT GIBSON, 67, mechanical engineer, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016. He was born in Hutchinson, Kansas to Frank R. and Corinne (Koestel) Gibson. He was a graduate of Buhler High School, Buhler, Kansas. After graduation he attended Wichita State University and Technical Schools that embraced the engineering field. Stan enjoyed gardening, motorsports, working on his motorcycles and hot rods. He is survived by his daughter Valarie Gibson-Smith and husband Kiler; granddaughter Brehmen Gibson-smith; brothers Dale Gibson, Joe Gibson, Tom Gibson and wife Berta; sister Paula Gibson; nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Corinne Gibson. A private celebration of life service will be held with his family and friends. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center.
