Stacy Ann Blackerby, 69, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, in Wichita after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. Private graveside family services will be held in Texas State Veteran's Cemetery in Abilene, Texas at a later date.

She was born October 21, 1947, in Plainview, Texas. She was a homemaker, a church volunteer and an antique collector. Survivors include her husband Jerry Blackerby of Wichita, Kansas; her two children Sean Blackerby of Colchester, Vermont and Shaila Blackerby of Wichita, Kansas; her stepdaughter Carey Hanson of Oxford, Mississippi; her sister Faye Boone of Lubbock, Texas. The family suggests memorials to Make-A-Wish Foundation, which Mrs. Blackerby volunteered for be made in her honor. Arrangements were by Baker's Funeral Home of Valley Center, Kansas.
