SIDNEY  THOMAS  WATKINS, 68, retired Boeing Aircraft Director of Assembly, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016, in his home with his loving family surrounding him. He was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Eldon Clarence Watkins and Bernadene Sammy (Mitchell) Watkins. He was a graduate of North High School, Wichita, Kansas. He loved his family and enjoyed the time he spent with them. He is survived by his wife Reda Watkins of the home; children Brian (Shonda), Jamie Ranney, Kevin, and Michelle Watkins-Held (Fred); grandchildren, Brianna, Dayton, Kaylin, Alyssa, Brylie, Brooklynn and Bristol; great granddaughter Aaliyah. He is preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 28, at the First United Methodist Church, 560 N. Park, Valley Center with Pastor Ji Seok-Ju officiating.
