Shirley Ann (Packard) Weber,
79, peacefully went to be with her Lord on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014, at her son's country home near Carbondale, Kansas. Shirley was born in Helena, Oklahoma to Ray Adam Packard and Goldie Francis (Ewing) Packard. Shirley grew up on the family farm where she enjoyed helping her father with the livestock, planting and harvesting the crops, although, she was known on occasion to skip the chores and grab a basketball instead! She was a star basketball player and graduate of Helena High School in Helena, Oklahoma. After graduation, she attended Oklahoma A&M (OSU) and played on the basketball team. In 1954, she married the love of her life, Frank Weber, in Enid, Oklahoma. She worked various jobs in the medical records field. She loved her family, OSU, WSU sports, fishing, gardening, hanging out with all her TOPS friends and watching her grandchildren play sports. Above all, Shirley loved serving her Lord Jesus Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Weber, son Randy Weber, daughter Brenda Weber and her parents. She is survived by her son David Weber and wife Danielle of Carbondale, Ks; grandchildren, Sara Weber of Colby, Jacob Weber of Topeka, Adam Stover of Haysville, and Franklin Oviatt of Bel Plaine; sister-in-law Edith Jones of Aline, OK; many other family and friends. Visitation 10:00 a.m. and Service 11:00 a.m., held on Monday, April 28, at the Valley Center Christian Church, 1801 E. Fifth, Valley Center. Burial following the service at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita, Ks. Memorials may be designated in her memory to the Parkinson's Association of the Plains, 2020 N.
