Cain, Shirley "Pat" Rosalie (Ganson), 95, retired Larned State Hospital Charge Nurse's Aide, beloved mother, grandmother aunt and friend, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013. She was born in Canton, Kansas to William Louis Ganson and Elta Maude (Powers) Ganson. She married Joseph William Cain, Sr, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded by her parents, brothers Elton Ganson, Leslie Ganson, Ralph Ganson, Wayne Ganson, and sisters, Lois Koffell, Sue Wintersteen, Helen Finney, Marjorie Arnold and Maxine Blevins. Pat is survived by her son, Joseph (Marilyn) Cain, Jr.; grandchildren, Shawny C. Carter, Jesse (Martha) Cain and Michael Cain; great grandchildren, Michael Drew Zollinger, Cody B. Zollinger, Kale R. Zollinger, Molly M. Cain, Joseph P. Cain, Johnny M. Cain and Marie H. Cain; great-great grandchildren, Kodi Zollinger and Zoie Zollinger; many other family and friends. Visitation 5-7 pm, Tuesday, April 30; Services 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, both will be held at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center, Kansas.
