Obituary

SHELBI EVYONNE KIND, 22, of Wichita, Kansas was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend. She enjoyed life and making others smile. Shelbi was born in Wichita, Kansas to Steven Joseph Kind and Janey Marie (Gifford) Kind. She had a passion for serving the Lord and loved her church family at Westview Baptist Church in Wichita. She was an exceptional student and just graduated from Butler Community College making the Dean's Honor Roll. Her second passion was what she majored in with a desire to be an amazing Chef.  She was received by her Lord and her parents Steven and Janey Kind who preceded her, her grandparents Kenneth Gifford, Fredrick and Velma Kind, uncle Chris Kind and aunt Bonnie Sue Gregg.  Shelbi is survived by her brother Glenn Kind and his wife Samantha of Wellington; niece Megan Myers and nephew Cody Myers; grandmother Sharon Gifford of Hutchinson; uncles Kenneth Gifford, Jr. of Sedgwick and Jeremy (LaCosta) Gifford of Hutchinson; aunt Zirita (Juan) Solis of Wichita and cousin Reeves Solis; close friend Kristopher Stephens; other family and many friends.  Celebration of Shelbi's Life will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 30, at Westview Baptist Church, 1325 S.
