SHARON KAY (BURGELL) TAYLOR
72, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 29, 2015 with her husband and family by her side. She was born April 7, 1943 in Neodesha, Kansas, the daughter of Clifford and Helen (Hamilton) Burgell. She was a 1961 graduate of Neodesha High School. She worked as a waitress in southeast Kansas and as a Food Service Supervisor at the El Dorado Correctional Facility. She attended beautician school and enjoyed being a hairdresser. She enjoyed her family and friends. She was strong, loving, kind hearted, outspoken, yet an inspirational women. She was so proud of her kids and grandkids. She loved to laugh, love and live life to the fullest. Sharon is survived by her husband of 30 years, Billy Taylor; her daughter Kim (Ritch) Larsh of Evans City, Pennsylvania; son David Fail of El Dorado, Kansas; stepsons Kelly (Sherry) Taylor of Leon and Kevin (Debra) Taylor of Augusta; sister Diana McFann of Garfield, Kansas; 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; many other family and friends. She is preceded by her parents Clifford and Helen Burgell, brother David Burgell and nephew Eric Vail.
Graveside Service 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, at Neodesha Cemetery, Neodesha, Kansas. Memorials may be designated in her memory, in lieu of flowers, to Heartland Hospice, Wichita, Kansas.
