VALLEY CENTER, KANSAS

SARAH ELLEN (BRANNAN) METZGER , 66, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018. She was born in Huntsville, Arkansas to William Donald Brannan and Virginia Lois (Baker) Brannan. She married the love of her life Virgil Metzger in 1968. Sarah retired from Twin Lakes State Bank as a loan secretary. She was a long time member of Berean Assembly Church, Wichita, Kansas. Sarah's greatest joy and time spent was with her family. She is survived by her husband Virgil; children, Tracy Swindle, Jeffrey (Kelly) Metzger, Dale (Rachel) Metzger, Stephanie McHatten (Clayton); 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sisters Louise Mashburn, Margaret Sanders, brothers Dewayne Brannan and Dean Brannan; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Virginia Lois Brannan and son-in-law Jeff Swindle.

Memorials may be designated in her memory to her church, Berean Assembly, 1215 W. Carey, Wichita, Kansas 67217. Visitation 4-6 Thursday, September 27, at the Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Graveside services 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 28 at the Valley Center Memorial Cemetery, Valley Center, Kansas. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
