SAMMY JOE GRISHAM 'SAM', 74, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017. He was born in rural Batesville, Arkansas to R.H. Grisham and Lucy (Goodman) Grisham. He worked for many years in construction as a Fenceman. In later years he was an investor in the Real Estate business. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and many outdoor activities. He counted it a joy to spend time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet Grisham; sons, Terry (Viktoriya) Grisham of Wichita and Tom (Kim) Grisham of Wichita; daughter Mary Dagenais of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, Emerie Grisham, Darren Grisham, Tawni Dagenais, Gage Dagenais, Kallista Dagenais, Wyatt Dagenais, Wyatt Dagenais and Cadence Dagenais; 1 great grandson Kaius Dagenais; brothers Bobby Grisham of Wichita, Johnny (Cecilia) Grisham of Murdock and Lynn Grisham of Mulvane; sister-in-laws Francis Satterwhite of Cave City, Arkansas and Bettye White of Texarkana, Texas; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents R.H. and Lucy Grisham, sister Patsy Ann Lula Van Dean Jones and brothers Jerry and Jimmy Grisham.
