Rosemary Ruth Whinery "Mary", 70, beautiful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020. She was born in Wichita, Kansas to Roy Harry Whinery and Lela Mae (Bright) Whinery. She loved family get togethers where they played Pitch, Canasta, Uno and Monopoly. She was a night owl, loved flowers, watching Family Feud, NCIS, and One Life to Live. Saturday night found this loving  grandmother rolling bandages for the Red Cross, drinking Mr. Cola and watching T.V.

Mary is survived by her brother Harry Whinery and wife Diana of Wichita; grandson Patrick Harrison and wife Lexuz of Wellington and granddaughter Christina Harrison of Wichita; 4 great grandkids;  longtime friend and sister Pattie and John McMurtray; other family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her daughters Mary Wilhite and Michele Harrison, and her parents.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center Chapel with Chaplain Larry McCrary of Serenity Hospice officiating.
