Rosemary 'Joy' Blair, 88, was born in Witham, Essex on February 10, 1934.  Joy Blair was an only child to Amy and Leonard Alexander. She married Ray Williams, a serviceman at 18 and with a small son and daughter they travelled by ship from England to the United States in 1955 where they had another daughter. Some years later, with children grown, she settled in Wichita, Kansas where she has remained, and in 1975 married Dan Blair.

Joy was an IT person before IT became "a thing" working at Santa Fe when computers where the size of a huge room. Later she worked at Thom and at Rent-A-Center, always in computers. She was accomplished.

Joy was a selfless, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Kevin Williams.  She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dan Blair; daughter Geri Watts; daughter Loretta Brown; granddaughters Shay Secondine, Kelsey Brown and Cassy Buell; great grandchildren Nigel and Serrada Secondine, Ava and Aiedon Brown, and Helena Buell; step daughter Martha Nance, along with other grand and great grandchildren.

Joy's other family members were her animals. She was a fierce advocate and lover of dogs and over the years had many dogs, especially Dobermans, that benefitted from a home of love and devotion.  In her final days she sadly missed her Jazz, Sevin and Goldie.  She was a kind and gentle soul to her four legged family members who reciprocated the same love in return.

Joy had a love for collecting teddy bears and had an impressive collection and she loved to read.  Anyone who knew Joy, or was lucky enough to have her as a friend, was blessed beyond measure.

She is irreplaceable, is loved by many, and will be greatly missed.
