Ronald E.
Miles
June 29, 1949 – November 21, 2025
Ronald Elisha Miles, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 21, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas. He was born in Wichita, Kansas, to Elisha Miles and Beatrice Childers Miles and remained a long-time resident of the city. Ron graduated from East High School in 1967. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he faithfully served one tour of duty.
Affectionately known as Ron, he grew up in the Pentecostal church (now known as Greater Pentecostal). At the age of eight, he was filled with the Holy Spirit, served as a Sunday School teacher, and sang in the choir. He preached his first sermon at fifteen years old and later became a youth pastor. Ron married Grace Hardy, and their union was blessed for forty-six years.
In May of 1989, Ron answered the call of God to found
and pastor Restoration Ministries, where he faithfully served as senior pastor until the day of his departure. He ministered in the fivefold ministry as a prophet,
evangelist, teacher, and pastor. Ron loved following the call of the Lord and spoke powerfully on faith. Many
were blessed by his obedience, generosity, and unwavering commitment to God's work. He also
cherished spending time with his family and friends.
Ron is preceded in death by his wife, Grace E. Hardy Miles; sons Brandeis Q. Miles and Tythan D. Miles; mother Beatrice Childers Miles; father Elisha Miles; sister Brenda Bradford; and brother Rudolph Miles.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Susan Miles, (OH); Nichelle (Johnny) Parker (KS); Darius Miles (KS); and Shonni Miles (NY); and siblings Stanly Miles (Dominican Republic); Patricia (David) Barlow (KS); Bobby Miles (KS); and Suzanne (Arthur) Hurst (KS). In addition, he is survived by eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, church family, and friends.
At his request, no memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ron's memory to Restoration Ministries Church.
The family of Prophet Ronald Elisha Miles wishes to express our deepest appreciation for your love, prayers, and support. Thank you to Restoration Ministries Church, extended family, and friends for your faithfulness during this time. Your kindness has been a source of peace and strength. May God continue to bless each of you. Amen. Amen. and Amen.
