Long, Ronald Eugene , 90, retired Commercial Roofing Contractor, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015. He was born in Garden City, Kansas to Halsey Long and Martha (Lowen) Long. On July 6, 1950 in Garden City, Kansas, he married Clara Belle Murphy. Ron is U.S. Navy and World War II Veteran. He is survived by his sons Mark Long (Pam Davidson) of Hutchinson, Kansas and Kurt Long (Starla Long) of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren Brandi (Francisco) Rodriquez, Nickolas Long, Jonathan Long and Keely Long; great grandchildren Damian Rodriquez and Noah Rodriquez. He is preceded in death by his wife Clara Belle Long. Services will be held in Hutchinson, Kansas on April 17, 11:00 a.m. at Crosspoint Church, 2005 Hendricks St.; and 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 18, at the Roundup Arena, 608 S. 14th, Dodge City, Kansas.
