Our Dad, Ronald Douglas Irvin was born on October 28, 1944 in Rotan, Texas to Milford Linnis Irvin and Norene Pearl Irvin. He was one of four children, a brother Thomas Charles Irvin, sisters Mary Lou Tankereley and Sue Stevens.

Dad married Brenda Jowers in 1964, and to this union were two children, Troy Irvin and Ronda Irvin; four grandchildren Dustin Hrencher, Kerry Wise, Garrett Irvin and Madison Haury;  great grandchildren Kyleigh Hrencher, Gage Wise, Riley Wise and Venus Hrencher, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.    He was preceded by his parents, brother Thomas, sister Mary Lou and granddaughter Madison.

Dad did lots of cowboying and ranching to make a living in the 60's. Later in life he was a truck driver for various trucking companies and retired as a truck driver.  Our family lived mostly in Sweetwater, Texas.  He passed away on February 16, in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 79.  He will be greatly missed.
