Franks, Ronald Ray , 68, retired City of Wichita grant coordinator, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to Albert Oscar Franks and Betty June (Morse) Franks. He was a U.S. Navy and Vietnam War Veteran. On April 17, 1982 in Wichita, Kansas he married the love of his life Janice, she survives. He is also survived by his son David Franks and daughter Jennifer (Andrew) Dilts; brother Dannie (Kathy) Franks; sister-in-law Lucy Franks, all of Wichita, KS; aunt Jetta Hoffman of Rockwell, TX; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Larry Franks, parents Albert and Betty Franks.

Service 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 2 at the Botanica Gardens, Wichita, Kansas. Memorials may be designated in his memory to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, Ks 67202. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center handled arrangements. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
